The Westminster Business Forum will be taking place on Tuesday 24th April at Sixty One Whitehall, London SW1A 2ET.
Overall, areas for discussion include:
Regulatory priorities: assessing the framework and its implications for accountability, standards and public trust, ahead of the extension of the SM&CR;
Diversity in finance: increasing the number of female executives and closing the gender pay gap, looking at the practical steps that firms can take to reform culture and improve diversity;
Corporate governance: the impact of Government reforms in this area, which are due to be implemented in June, as work begins on corporate governance guidelines for large private businesses, and as the government begins research into how companies use share buybacks; and
Working practices: latest thinking on the role of culture in improving employee welfare, with reference to current challenges around mental health, wellbeing and disability.
