The Payment Services Directive came into force on 1 November 2009 under which any UK entity that makes payments must be authorised by the FSA and comply with both the FSA rules and the Payments Services Regulations 2009. APCC member firms can assist you in this process.

Members Benefits

 

The APCC is active in enhancing the professional standards of compliance consultants and is recognised as a trade body by the FSA. Compliance consultancy firms who support the APCC's objectives and successfully complete the application process are eligible to become members of the APCC.

 

 

Membership provides:

  • listing on the APCC website
  • priority booking at APCC events
  • improved access to the FSA
  • enhanced professional standing
  • access to cost effective PI insurance

 

Membership also provides access to the member pages of the website including:

  • informative content
  • discussion forums

Members can also describe themselves as 'Members of the Association of Professional Compliance Consultants'. The FSA has also included details of the APCC in its fact sheet - 'finding a compliance consultant'.
